Hi there! I go by ButteredFlour online. If you’re wondering about the origins of my name, you’ve come to the right place. I knew I wanted a name with “butter” in it since butter is delicious and I can’t imagine life without it. During this brainstorming stage, I was going through a slight obsession with croissants and pastries. I was using a pound of butter each week to make croissants and various laminated goodies. I ate WAY too many. I would eat 6 in a sitting. I love croissants so much.

Anyways, I was making the croissants and thinking about how they were more butter than they were flour hence the name ButteredFlour was created. I no longer make croissants. While I still enjoy them, hand lamination is a lot of work and I’d rather buy croissants. The fact that croissants are about $5+ for one helps me eat croissants in moderation. It’s much better for my health.

This website focuses on baked goods. Most of the recipes will have an added splash of fun to make the food more interesting and unique.
